Hometown boys of Athens, GA, Just These Dudes are an exciting and unique presence in the music scene. With a keen ear for what the average college student is listening for, this energetic foursome come to shows equipped with only their wits, their impressive talent, and their encyclopedic knowledge of pop-rock hits from the last thirty years.
Taking their demographic into close consideration, Just These Dudes garnish their set lists heavily with tunes from the last ten years, mostly the well-known power-pop that has been a mainstay of the Top 40. If you attend a Dudes show, you'll be hearing plenty of Weezer, Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, but also popular one-hit wonders such as Lit, Harvey Danger, and so forth. Notably, you'll be hard-pressed to hear a song that you don't know the words to--past shows have included rousing crowd singalongs to "The Freshman" (by the Verve Pipe) and other powerful ballads and rockers.
Just These Dudes also have a canny grasp of classic songs that people of all ages can enjoy. Cheap Trick, Twisted Sister, and Quiet Riot songs punctuate Dudes performances, naturally to a very positive crowd reaction. Sharp musicians, the Dudes have no problem learning songs for specific shows if requested to do so. Rap or pop songs are not out of the question--these Dudes aim to please. And forget the lackadaisical, unenergetic bar bands you've seen in the past: Just These Dudes are animated and fun to watch. They have a kinetic, high-powered stage presence that doesn't let up.
Just These Dudes steer their sound towards feel-good party anthems: the kind of music that is fun to sing along to and fun to grab a beer to as well. They are available to play your frat party, bar, or anywhere else where people want to have a good time. Watch out for them on a stage near you!
